I am kind of chubby and I gained weight recently. I am trying to lose it. However, I am meeting an online friend soon (yes I will be safe, public place, have cell with me.) I want to look thinner because they only saw pictures of my face.

What types of clothes can I wear to make myself look a little thinner? Please advice. Thanks.

I have an okay body, not too fat, and not too thin. But my face is a bit poofy. It’s like taking the fats in the cheeks. I’ve tried many types of fad diets and exercises, they work wonders with my body but not with my face. How do I get a thinner and more defined face (most especially my cheeks)? Which series of healthy diet should I follow? Thanks!

Hello I am 5’9 and Im 200 pounds and I am currently doing cardio, weight training and eatting right to lose weight. I need your help to tell how much weight for each dumbbell I should use to bench press with. I am currently using 15 pounds each dumbbell but I dont know if that is the correct weight I should use. Well I know in general, 2 pounds a week is all you should lose. BUT if you are extremely overweight, it’s not uncommon to see more than that dropping when you first start to exercise. I’m 50 pounds overweight and want to start losing it.

Based on calculations, 2 pounds a week takes about 6 months. But I’m not sure how to factor in the bit about how you might lose more than that for the first few weeks. So maybe, 5 months? I want to be close to my targetted size by Halloween.

I want to have slimmer legs (thighs, specifically) more than athletic, more muscular legs. I guess toned is what I’m going for. I know that jogging/running/walking helps, but I’ve heard that jogging can give you big muscle mass or whatever, so I was wondering which of the three will help me slim down and tone, not build muscle.

I weigh about 226 pounds, and i would like to drop to about 195 pounds. I started running a few days ago, and i started running a mile a day, and im increasing a lap every few days. I’m a 21 year old girl who is 5-4. I’ve started trying to lose weight by exercising 6 times a week and trying to eat more healthy. I started at the end of january at 195 pounds and have lost 10 pounds in the past month. I’m hoping to lose 50-60 pounds total and was wondering about how long that should take.
