Im a 16 year old girl, im 175 pounds, 5″6. I really want to lose 15-20 pounds in 3 months, because i am going to be meeting someone. I can only exercise twice a week for one hour because i have a lot of things to do during the week. I was wondering if it is possible to lose 15-20 pounds in 3 months, without being anorexic and super unhealthy. Is there anyway to do it while maybe not being 100% healthy, but not too unhealthy?

I want to get into shape quickly as possible. So far I’ve began eating one meal a day and walked an hour twice a day and lost almost 10 pounds in a week. But am I able to lose 60 pounds or more?

I am currently 6’1″ 265 pounds and yes i have some muscle but i also have fat and i want to lose it all within a year. Is it possible? What has worked for you. Any tips or ideas? all the answers are helpful and hopefully we can get alot of them so i can put together something to work for me.

My wife is a heavy girl, When I married her 6 months ago she was planning to go on a diet and lose weight for the wedding. Also she is always saying that she would have to lose weight before getting pregnant. Even though we are not thinking about that yet.

To make this short the diet never happened and she has gained alot more weight since the marriage, She is always complaining that her knee hurts and blames it on the weight but She is unmotivated and eats the most unhealthy foods.

How do I approach this issuse without getting into a major arguement?
She does not like the Outdoors and In response to “tangerine” good song btw, yes I married a big girl,but I as well as her mother want her to loose weight for health reasons as well as others. I married her because I love her not because of how big she was. That doesn’t give a person the right to gain weight especially when it becomes unhealthy. Her mom asked me to motivate her in the first place.

I know thats a pound. But can you lose more weight than just a pound? Like lets say you burn 3,500 calories each week, for a month and you lose only 4 pounds. Can you lose more than just 4 pounds? Or would the rest be water weight?

On tv, they always either have people who lost 25 pounds in bikinis, or people who lost 400 pounds in suits because of all their loose skin. What about the people who lose 100-150 pounds. Do they get that loose skin thing too? Or can they look normal?
