I weight 172 right now and with my height my bmi is 27.8 and overweight. I want to to be in the middle of a normal weight and if i lose 40 pounds that puts me right around there. How can I accomplish this?

Ok I currently weight around 199lbs and I’d like to lose weight,I go to curves three days a week and I eat healthy. But I’m not losing any weight! Am I doing something wrong?

Well I know in general, 2 pounds a week is all you should lose. BUT if you are extremely overweight, it’s not uncommon to see more than that dropping when you first start to exercise. I’m 50 pounds overweight and want to start losing it.
Based on calculations, 2 pounds a week takes about 6 months. But I’m not sure how to factor in the bit about how you might lose more than that for the first few weeks. So maybe, 5 months? I want to be close to my targetted size by Halloween.

Reward your teen’s dieting success. Dieting is hard work. So your teen should be rewarded for their success. This can be something that will help them stick to their diet when they are tempted. Rewards are something that we all reach for, as everyone likes to be rewarded.
