There must be hundreds of small weight loss tips that can be provided to anyone who is currently on a diet or trying to loss weight. I never could understand why my mother never brought any of granny’s cookies home with her. Instead we would have to go to grannies and eat them there. Finally I was informed that one of grannies favorite weight loss tips was not to eat the food at home. Never take home cookies or candy. We were always told that it was better to enjoy our treats at grannies house. Whenever we wanted a special treat mother would pack us all in the family car and tote us off to visit granny. By making our visit into an adventure we never have to worry about the temptations relating to having the treats in the home. Okay let’s provide granny with another blue ribbon. She was actually very correct in her assumptions. Protein has been found to build up muscle mass and it tends to encourage fat burning. So all that yogurt, nuts, cheese, and beans that granny feed us worked very much to our advantage.
