There are some effective measures to take for those seeking the quickest way to lose weight. You need to remember though since it usually has taken time to put on weight it’s best to not try to lose it too quickly. You’re more likely to keep it off that way.

The type of exercise does matter. However if you’re currently doing little or nothing at all at least begin with a daily walk. If your time and schedule allows it’s best to exercise before you eat your meal, as exercise is a natural appetite suppressant.

Try to get in at least 30 minutes per day to start. But again if you want to lose weight quickly you will do as much as you possibly can. You don’t want to endanger yourself so if exercising is a challenge for you please check with your doctor first.

Exercising to lose weight will include cardiovascular exercising which works the heart and also some weight resistance. Good cardio examples are the use of an elliptical machine or ski machine or even walking stairs. Do this for 45 minutes to an hour per day.

Weight resistance would include the use of free weights or a bow flex type machine or something like the Total Gym often advertised on TV. But if you don’t have those you can do push ups, either on the floor or against a wall (if you’re new to this).

One last thing: Drink water. Lots of it every day.

How do you get your wife to lose weight?

That was the "gist" of the article.

A real "touchie" subject. And one that was sure to make my female readers a bit "edgy".

But I couldn’t resist commenting on it… as I am sure that both men and women alike would benefit.

So let’s see here, where should I begin?

Oh ya… the title. Well it read… "Getting Your Wife To Lose Weight – 3 Quick Tips For The Man Of The House."

WOW!

I don’t know a woman alive would wouldn’t open that article full ready to lay into the sexist pig who dared write it!

And truth be told… us men are selfish at heart, it’s surely a question on the minds of more men than women would care to know. Perhaps it’s on the mind of your man?…

Anyway, It sucked me in!

And while I expected to find the same old boring blah blah blah…. I was surprised to find that the article actually made some good points. One in particular was without question the best.

And it is this little tid-bit of wisdom that I’m going touch on in this article.

It will not only benefit the men (Could even save their mortal lives!)… who as we all know, while they wish their wifes were thinner… could stand to lose a few pounds themselves!

But it will also benefit all you wives who wish your husbands were thinner, but don’t have the heart to tell them.

Now the point made was more or less along the lines of… "Hey husbands, if you want your wife to lose weight then get off your fat butt and lead by example!"

In other words… while many a naive man has, in a momentary laps of judgment, found himself in the dog house… A far better approach than just telling her, is to lead by example. No words. No talk. Just action.

I’m a firm believer in that ancient passage of wisdom that ever a church going man is familiar… "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?…"

I think it’s found in Mathew or something like that.

Anyway… to be the "man of the house" you have to lead by example.

When you do you tend to gain the respect of your woman.

I have yet to meet a guy who has taken that advice to heart. Who has got off his fat butt and took it upon himself to eat right and exercise. Each day. Becoming passionate about it for his own healths sake. Who’s wife, girlfriend, who ever… didn’t soon there-after follow suite.

And I truly believe that the vast majority of wives would agree… they are more than willing, if their man will first make the sincere effort.

The one thing is DIET.

Not as in “starving yourself” or “skipping meals”.

Diet as in what you eat on a regular, day in and day out basis.

Unfortunately, the word diet has gotten a bad wrap.

Which is why most get a uneasy feeling in their stomach when they hear it mentioned. What people do not realize is that with a few modifications to their existing diet, they can eat all the food they want (including snack items) and still experience super fast weight loss.

And they can do it without having to sweat their brains out.

And eating wisely can be as simple as learning how to arrange your carbohydrate intake throughout the day.

Grazing is proven to speed up your metabolism and force your body to rely more heavily on existing fat stores. This means you’ll burn more fat.

There are many other little diet secrets you can apply. Just simple, easy things that pack a whole lot of punch.

But the sole purpose of this article is to narrow your focus.

The biggest problem people have when trying to lose weight is not understanding where to begin.

And for anyone who’s had a hard time “putting the pieces together” in the past… it can be very refreshing to know that you can lose a lot of weight simple by focusing on diet.

You don’t need to sweat your brains out. And you certainly don’t need to learn to exercise like a professional trainer.

Your diet TRUMPS exercise when it comes to producing super fast weight loss.

Simply making a few adjustments to your diet… can shave pounds and inches of fat off very, very quickly.
