The state of being healthy is basically referred to as fitness. It would be great if people could commit themselves to fitness for life.

According to the Bible, our body is our temple. We therefore have an obligation to keep our body healthy. Certainly for this reason, it is a remarkable act to maintain health of both the mind and the body.

This requires both hard work and careful action. It does not matter how difficult it is to keep a healthy life, but it is rewarding. Of course only the few people that work for it are able to achieve a lifetime of happiness and health.

Exercising for fitness is an important part of a healthy daily routine. People are able to fight several diseases through exercise and keeping fit. The heart disease is regarded as one of the killer diseases.

The trend is becoming more popular to ignore activity. This is why a lot of people are suffering from various illnesses. Hospitals are profiting now more than ever, mainly because patients don’t follow the doctors’ orders.

In fact, teenagers nowadays don’t usually follow the suggested activities for fitness and health by the Council of the President on Physical Fitness and the Surgeon General. This makes up 33% of the United States population.

The poor physical fitness habits of today’s nation’s youth will carry with them right into adulthood. The amount of people suffering from diseases will only rise in numbers.

According to a report by the National Institute on Aging, only 58% of Americans are engaged in a program of lifetime fitness. They only follow their fitness program on their spare time. Sadly, there are only a quarter of them that are habitual participants in the lifetime fitness program. Oftentimes, approximately three times every week.

A commitment to a lifetime of exercise is important. But far too often, many people neglect it. Often, people disregard the fact that it will really enhance their lives.

Perhaps you are already aware that the common local causes of deaths are heart disease, stroke, accidents caused by unintended injuries, cancer and chronic lower respiratory ailments. The Center for Disease Control reports these diseases are among the 5 most common causes of death each year.

Fatality from these five common diseases can be avoided easily. As mentioned, common causes of death may be easily avoided. This could only occur if people would focus on fitness exercise more so, to allow for a commitment into a lifetime fitness program. Accidental deaths are not included.

A lifetime fitness program does not only deal with physical exercise. This program includes following a diet.
It is likely that the commitment to physical fitness will offer a longer life as well as a happier one. You’ll get a lot more out of life, including picking more daisies, if you keep your mind and body healthy.

It’s your decision. What will you choose – work toward a lifetime of fitness or be lazy and face the consequences?

YouthfulFitness.net – Acai Weight Loss – Lose 10 to 15 Pounds FAST and EASY – When I first heard of Acai weight loss and the Acai berry craze from my co-workers concerning its amazing antioxidants and benefits, I was very skeptical. I decided to investigate and see for myself before making any rash judgments. I wanted to drop pounds fast, so I was going to find a fast way to lose weight. More importantly, an easy way. I immediately hopped on the internet and looked up “acai berry”. I then started searching for the various benefits and antioxidants it has, and let me tell you, I was surprised. The acai berry is a red and purple inch long fruit. It comes from the acai palm tree, which is native to Central and South America. It is a relative of the blueberry, cranberry, among other dark purple fruits. Acai contains anthocyanins and flavonoids. These are the powerful antioxidants that help the body defend against stress and disease. They also help to protect cells by neutralizing free radicals in the system. It is thought that this free radical capturing process also helps to lower the likelihood of cancer in humans, as well as heart disease and other brain and heart ailments. Acai weight loss diet though? I didn’t buy it. I looked around and found a supplement called Natural Acai. This product claimed it would help me to cleanse my system, make me feel more energetic and fight fatigue, remove toxins and free radicals from my body, but most importantly burn a higher level of

You may have chosen to run to lose weight, but isn’t it good to know that running brings all sorts of other health benefits too?

1. Healthier heart Your heart, as you know, is responsible for pumping the blood that carries oxygen round your body. When you run, you cause your heart to work harder, pumping more blood. Over time, running makes your heart more efficient so that even if you are at rest, your heart is pumping more blood with each heart beat. The arteries also benefit from running. As you run, the arteries become more elastic and more able to flush out the fatty deposits that may have developed in the walls of your arteries and that could potentially obstruct the flow of blood to the heart. If not addressed, these obstructions in the blood’s pathway can cause a heart attack.

2. Lower blood pressure As a result of having more elastic arteries, blood pressure among runners is usually low. One study of a group of long distance runners showed that their use of blood pressure reducing medication was 50% lower than in non-runners.

3. Lower cholesterol Also according to a study, runners generally have lower cholesterol. When running, HDL cholesterol (the good fat) level increases, while the bad fat and triglyceride levels decrease. This results in reduced risk of heart disease.

4. Stronger lungs Running makes increases your body’s need for oxygen, prompting your lungs to work harder by using 50% of otherwise unused lung capacity. Running also increases the number of your capillaries, the tiny blood vessels through which blood passes to the lungs, so the blood can absorb oxygen more efficiently. So your lungs improve and get used to working harder which means more efficient breathing whether you are running or idle.

5. Firmer muscles The most obvious benefit of running is firmer and more toned muscles. This is because, when running, you expose them to constant and rigorous activity and leave them fit and stronger. Regular running also improves muscular strength and endurance, making you more adept at handling activities that require a great deal of physical effort.

6. Stronger bones Although widely associated with age, osteoporosis, a condition characterized by hollow and brittle bones, is thought to be the result of lack of exercise. Running can decrease your chances of suffering from osteoporosis and other bone problems. By keeping them always at work, joints and bones develop flexibility, endurance and strength.

7. Better bowel movement Among the running health benefits, improved bowel movement is perhaps the least known. By increasing breathing, running helps in the wavelike movement of the bowels, making them easier to release. This prevents constipation and haemorrhoids.

To have a healthy body is just like hitting two birds with one stone. Aside from the fact that it will make you look more attractive, being healthy would also mean you will have a lower risk in having dreadful diseases like diabetes, heart disease or high blood pressure.

To achieve a healthy weight loss diet might be a little difficult for some but your hard work will pay off in the end.

First thing that you need to do is to know that your calorie intake must be less than the amount of your body is actually burning on a daily basis. You see, if you’re eating more than you’re burning off, no matter which healthy weight loss diet plan you do, the pounds are just not going to come off. This is one of the common reasons as to why people get disappointed when they don’t get the results they’ve been aiming for.

Next thing that you need to do is realizing the fact that having just a healthy weight loss diet is not the only thing that you must do in order to be healthy and in great shape. You also need to exercise so that your body gets firm and fit. Exercising helps you to get faster results in losing weight.

While you’re at it, you will realize that there is no overnight way of one to lose weight. You need to know your goals first and with these goals, you get inspired to do well everyday with your desire to lose those unwanted fats. Bear in mind that crash dieting, diet pills and surgery are just temporary ways to lose weight. They may be good at first but in the long run, you will soon figure out that it’s making your goal even more unachievable since it could possibly give you back the pounds you’ve lost. Plus, it is also harmful to your health. For instance, there are diet pills that could not be trusted and might just put your life at risk. Surgery is very dangerous too since it involves getting you nipped. Crash dieting is also harmful too since your body might react to the sudden changes in your ways of eating.

The good thing about sticking to your plan is for you to maintain the focus with your goal. And as mentioned earlier, having a great body would not just give you a great shape but you will also feel good within yourself.

Finally! You can lose weight in one week with a healthy weight loss diet! Find out the secrets to achieve this seemingly impossible feat! It worked for me, there’s no reason why it won’t for you! Check it out here http://www.loseweightinoneweek.info/
