Want to know what you can do to tighten the Derriere that only takes ten minutes out of your day? That’s what I thought. You can do these two simple exercises while you’re washing the dishes or watching TV!

I don’t care how old you are, or how soft you are, these two simple exercises will have your butt as hard as a rock in two to three months. After one month you will notice a change and so will your husband. ;0)

Let’s do some squats! Yes, you heard me, squats. The rest of this article will explain how to do the squats at anytime during the day, watching TV, washing the dishes, or even vacuuming the floor.

If you haven’t done any exercises in a while start out with only ten squats at a time for each exercise. After two weeks go ahead and work yourself up to fifteen or twenty squats. If you walk a lot now, go ahead and do fifteen squats. Later on in the day do another set of fifteen.

The first sets of squats are not only good for the derriere but also for the stomach, thighs, and other associated muscles. You’ll know which muscles I’m talking about after you do these squats.

A. Stand up, keep back straight, and suck in stomach, feet two inches apart.

B. Keep your back straight as possible; now bend your knees until you’re almost in a sitting position.

C. Do ten of these – later in the day or evening do ten more of these squats.

The next set of squats is not only good for the derriere but tightens up the inner thigh as well. The main thing to remember if you want a tight butt and inner thigh is you have to be consistent.

Do two sets a day for each squat exercise. That means four times a day. If you work all day, do them in the bathroom at work. Or you can do them at night before going to bed.

A. Stand up with good posture, keep back straight, suck in stomach, feet should be aligned with your shoulders.

B. Bend your knees until you’re almost sitting down, straighten up and hold in your butt and stomach muscles and count to ten. That was one squat.

C. Do ten of these squats – later on in the day or evening do ten more of these squats.

The two most important aspects to keep in mind when doing these two simple butt exercises is to keep good posture while squatting, and be consistent with your workout. Don’t think that you can do the squats a few times a week and that’s it. Although, a little exercise is better than none at all.

But we want to see quick results, so be consistent and do them twice each and everyday!

Doing these two squat exercises several times a day throughout the day will have your butt feeling and looking better than any other in the neighborhood. I do them several times during the day when I’m just standing in the kitchen cooking or briefly watching the news, or washing dishes.

After about three months you can work your way up to doing twenty or thirty squats at a time. Believe me ladies, you won’t be the only one enjoying the new look and feel.

Fighting excess weight is one of the oldest “women’s sports”. This kind of sport is especially popular after holidays. And here we are now – holidays passed and summer getting closer.

If you  see that your summer wardrobe sits tight on you don’t hurry to change to a  bigger size of clothes. The situation is quite correctible. I would like to offer you the diet that helps you to get rid of 5kg (11lb) of excess weight during a week. The motivation is strong – the size of your clothes must be not bigger than for the previous summer! Is not it nice to tell your friends and acquaintances that after all the holidays and the winter season you did not add any excess weight?! And this decision is the first step to succeed in weight loss. It will demand to  some effort from you of course but it is  worthwhile.  The pointer of your scales will move lower and after a week the desired result will be achieved.

This undoubtedly will cheer you up and you’ll want to strengthen the results achieved and maybe even go further.

Dieting will help your stomach to get accustomed to the smaller amount of food you need every day. It will decrease the quantity of consumed calories.  So after this diet it is easy to maintain balanced meals.

Yes, to lose of 5-7kg (11-15lb) excess weight in one week is quite enough. The diet is very simple. Your food during these days is fruit and vegetables. But you must not overeat them – 1.5kg (3lb) of them a day is enough.

What you can eat for a day?

-apples

-boiled vegetables

-mashed vegetables

-oranges and mandarins

-kiwi

-fruit all sorts (not dressed)

-fruit puree (without sugar)

The main rule is not to eat more than 1.5kg (3lb) of foodstuff in a day. What can you drink? It is tea (green is preferable), coffee (without sugar) and mineral water.

To improve your appearance choose fruits that suit your skin. For dry skin it is ripe red fruits;  for fat skin it is better to have green sour-sweet fruits. For normal skin,  both are suitable.

But it is not enough to eat little! Have a strong shower every morning to push the process.  After a shower your blood will flow more freely freely.  Also, a shower makes you cheerful and draws you away from foods and snacking. Thus your breakfast will be smaller than usual. Maybe a cup of coffee will be enough. But don’t forget to add some non fat milk to it. That is a proven method I use myself.

A hot bath with few drops of aromatic oil draws your thoughts away from appetizing foodstuff in the evening. It can be rosemary, eucalyptus, lemon, fir or other stuff that you like. You will switch your perception to a fragrance that draws you away from food.

Don’t lie in the bath without any movement. If your bath has hydro massage it is perfect. If not,  try to do it yourself. Even a simple massage can bring about a miracle.

Maybe after 3-4 days you will be tired of fresh vegetables and fruit. Then begin to cook them! Don’t be afraid to experiment. You may cook your day’s meals at once and divide it to portions. Remember the rule – not more than 1.5kg (3lb) of food a day. Vary assortment of vegetables. It may be:

-cauliflowers

-broccoli

-carrot

-haricot

-sweet pepper

It can be everything you like, all that suits you best.

There is another way to limit your portion of meal – decrease the salt in your meal or don’t salt it completely. The taste of meal will be a bit strange. You will eat not much in this case. But that is all you need!

7 days after this diet you will be pleasantly surprised. Compare your weight with those you had before. You will be glad to have such results.

I bet you said the same thing last year, resolving that I want to lose weight in 2009, but have miserably failed in your attempt to lose weight up to now. If so, don’t worry you are not alone, we all are in the same boat where as losing weight is concerned.

Why did you fail miserably in trying to lose weight this year? You should take a close look at what you have been doing in order to lose that extra fat in your body. Have you been cheated by those eye catching advertisements that promises to lose 75lbs in 1 week?

So if you have resolved to lose weight in 2010, below tips will come in handy as they are not planned to lose 75lbs in 1 week, but will definitely help your body to lose weight gradually.

  1. Slowly eat and chew each bite during meals as this would decrease one’s appetite.
  2. Warm water with just a squeeze of lemon juice before breakfast get the metabolism going for the day, this also help preventing constipation and is excellent for the skin.
  3. Eat only when you are hungry. Do not mistake emotional hunger for physical hunger. Emotional hunger is when you eat to avoid feeling a negative feeling or the food we intake when we feel blue.
  4. If you are feeling negative, just feel that feeling fully and you will release that feeling. Then you do not need to eat anything to cover up that feeling.
  5. Drink extra water before a main meal, this will help to consume less during the main course.
  6. Eight hours after waking up, our metabolism slows down that is why 30 minutes of exercise before dinner will increase the metabolism for about two to three hours. This produces an increase in burned fat even hours after the work out is over
  7. Add alfalfa or mung beans to salad to get extra iron.
  8. Chilli helps to speed up metabolism – even the milder varieties. But remember to not to consume too much chillies as it can help develop gastritis.

Once you start to lose weight, just remember it’s a question of will. Keep doing what is working for you. Stay away from junk food, and you will feel healthier and alive than never before.
