10 Slimmers of the Year from around the UK celebrate losing 100 stone between them at the National Slimmer of the Year Awards on Wednesday 5th January 2011, hosted by Rosemary Conley and Dr Hilary Jones. Rosemary Conley CBE presented the 10 winners their awards and cash prizes at the London Marriott County Hall Hotel. TV’s Doctor Hilary Jones was also in attendance, and explained the health benefits enjoyed by the successful slimmers and clarified why, with the right diet and regular exercise, it is still healthy to lose over 12 stone in 12 months. Each Slimmer of the Year paraded a cardboard cut-out of their larger selves, as they celebrated their weight loss achievements and received their £1000 cash prize. Altogether, the ten Slimmers of the Year 2011, have lost a staggering 100 stone between them. After a record number of applications through the Rosemary Conley Diet & Fitness Magazine, the ten slimmers, who come from all over the UK, have achieved the biggest accumulative weight loss the annual competition has ever seen.

Report: Slimmer Apple iPad with Mini USB, Camera in 2011
Two Goldman Sachs analysts said this week that Apple is prepping the next version of the iPad for a June 2011 release. It will include a built-in camera, a mini USB port, and be thinner and lighter than its predecessors.
